  1. I totally agree with this statement, it is because student need to find out some information in different ways. And i think Wikipedia is very useful for all student who want to understand the general knowledge in their work or assignment. Although it is seem like not reliable , but i do believe the company manage to delete those information is uploaded by idiots, vandals and fanatics. On the other hand , student should analysis and digest the information by themselves. If the students could come to find out which is truth and which is fake, they would be more deep explore the topic that they want to find it.
Besides that ,some of the articles website aren't free whereas Wikipedia is free for all people. Therefore , it is save money for students. I often use Wikipedia to search the general definition, concepts and background. I fancy using this because that is too useful for me. In addition, information from Wikipedia is more than others websites. It's useful for students are start getting used to understanding different opinion, different perception and different language. I do believe that they will make them easy to start doing their assignment. There is a saying" If Wikipedia is fake, that won't have so many people are still using it now." Finally, i just want to mention it again, i do agree it is useful for students to search information in Wikipedia.

  2. I disagree with that because Wikipedia is a free open-source encyclopedia, which basically means that anyone can log on and add to it or edit it. This cause Wikipedia lack of details information to the students who want to get the information as they need. I'm pretty sure Wikipedia is a just for temporarily to get some of the idea inside. From my point of view, students are too rely on the Wikipedia and it influenced their motivation to reading a book or article in daily lives.I believed that majority of lecturer are not encouraged their students to use Wikipedia to work their projects. As i mentioned before recently they want to help the students in right track to do research into the library more than do research into the website.Even though Wikipedia is free for everyone but it is hard to acquire a clear information. The information is not reliable as virtually anyone can go onto wikipedia and put up whatever they want. This means that people with no qualifications in a particular subject area can still write information about it, including a lot of people who really have no idea what is going on.
Because of this, most educatoinal institutions don't accept Wikipedia as a reliable source.Lastly,Wikipedia is great for finding out about things, but not so good for getting actual information you can cite in your research.
